Project Delivery Officer - Transport & Infrastructure
- Band 6 salary range of between $96,414.06 and $104,911.21 per annum plus 12% super and annual leave loading.
- Temporary full time Position (18 month grant funded role)
- Located at 32 Civic Drive, Greensborough VIC 3088

About the role:
As the Project Delivery Officer - Transport & Infrastructure you will play a key role in coordinating the successful delivery of Council's grant-funded Capital Works projects within the Traffic and Transport unit. This position offers the opportunity to apply high-level project management, program planning, procurement, monitoring and reporting expertise to ensure projects are delivered to best practice standards. Working within an organisation committed to a sustainable and thriving municipality, you will contribute to the delivery of essential infrastructure that meets community expectations while upholding Council's strong focus on service excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
A typical day might include:
- Support the organisation in the end-to-end project management of internal and externally funded infrastructure projects
- Actively contribute to the development of transport infrastructure and planning capabilities throughout Council
- Coordinate the planning, coordination and delivery of transport-related projects, ensuring project outcomes align with strategic objectives, timelines and allocated budgets
- Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers, building strong, collaborative relationships.
What you will bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with some demonstrated industry experience in project management (road infrastructure, recreation/leisure and buildings)
- Experience in the planning, initiation and delivery of community buildings, infrastructure and road infrastructure projects within a local government environment.
- Experience in contract management, including preparing tender documentation, evaluation submissions and contract award processes.
